I think that both of these photographers have a wonderful sense of humor and a sense of the macabre. This work is startling and fresh to say the least. You have to smile to yourself when you see this online photo exhibit . Their brilliance shines through in the most surprising ways. I think that each picture is more complex and cerebral that at first glance. The woman who is three dimensionally escaping her photograph is thought provoking. The fact she is partly naked adds to the head turning nature of the photograph. The laughing rubes in full southern attire and hat are too cute for words. They look like they’re fresh out of Mayberry and ready to approach Sheriff Andy about a great money making idea to put Mayberry on the map. My personal favorite is the shattered mirror. The surface shows a fine crystal decanter and wine glass. I find that this event was a multi shattering happening.
